Sports Chiropractor on Pelvic Mobility & Deep Core Control

"As a sports chiropractor, I'm always interested in tools that improve movement and body awareness. The Pelvic Clock® is a simple dome-shaped device that fits under the sacrum and teaches people how to move their pelvis with precision.
Using the clock positions as a guide, the exercises help improve pelvic mobility while gently stretching the muscles of the lower back. One of the things I like most is that it targets small stabilizing muscles, such as the multifidus, which are difficult to isolate with traditional stretching.
The circular movements also make it easy to identify areas of restriction. As you rotate your pelvis, you can feel which directions are tighter and spend extra time stretching those areas, including the sacroiliac (SI) joints and surrounding muscles.
The Pelvic Clock® is a useful tool for people with lower back conditions or anyone looking to improve core mobility, body awareness, and control of pelvic movement."
